I just wanted to let you know my plants have arrived today as promised. I am happy for you to use my photos - if good enough - I live on the edge of a wheat field and it's always breezy so getting the tree to stand still is always a problem! I just wanted you to see what a beautiful tree you grew and that I haven't killed it since you handed it over to me! there must be a dedicated plants-man/woman who maybe wonders what has happened to the trees they have lovingly looked after. It was about 8 or 9ft tall with just a few sturdy branches Every year I marvel at the beautiful leaves as they change through their colours, and every year the tree grows more attractive. I couldn't wait to get it safely at home in my garden! I think I received the tree in the Autumn. I have fond memories of my tree arriving here in Suffolk in a large lorry beautifully cushioned in bubble wrap. The story is that I particularly wanted a Box Elder having seen one on Dermot Gavin's high rise garden at Chelsea in 2012, and you were the only nursery that had one for sale.

It just arrived one day in perfect condition and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it, and everyone who has seen it over Christmas has remarked on just how beautiful it is, and been amazed that I got it in the post! So a big thank you to all of you at Ashridge for the most perfect of Christmas trees.

I can’t thank you enough for sending the most beautiful tree to grace my front room this Christmas, I won’t want to take it down!! And to think all I did was order it on line, no driving for miles to search out a tree, no hassle getting it in or on the car, then out at the other end. I have given it water regularly but I still can’t believe how amazing a tree it is!įor me the most wonderful thing about Christmas is having a tree indoors, I absolutely love a Christmas tree and this one takes the prize as the best ever. I just had to write and say thank you for the best Christmas tree I have ever had!! It has and is still stunning! It hasn’t dropped any needles despite being in a warm room.
